2. In brief
This website uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking services and no social media plugins, and it loads no content from third parties such as Google. No fonts are downloaded; your device’s system font is used. We only process personal data where this is necessary to run the website and to handle your enquiry.
3. Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit the website, the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, referring page) in order to provide the website securely and reliably.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are deleted by the host after a short period. We have concluded a data processing agreement with IONOS under Art. 28 GDPR.
4. Encryption
The website and the enquiry form use SSL/TLS encryption, indicated by the padlock icon and “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
5. Enquiry form and documents
If you contact us via the enquiry form, we process your details (name, company, email address, phone number, country, details of the assignment, message) and any documents you upload. They are transmitted to our server in encrypted form and forwarded from there by email to our mailbox; they are not stored on the web server itself.
The purpose is to prepare a quote and, where applicable, to carry out the assignment. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract) and your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
Your documents may contain personal data of third parties and special categories of data. We treat them in strict confidence, use them exclusively for the quote and the assignment and do not pass them on to third parties.
6. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our mailbox is also operated by IONOS.
7. Retention period
We delete your data as soon as it is no longer required for its purpose. If no assignment results, we delete the enquiry and documents no later than six months after our last correspondence. For assignments, we retain business records only for as long as statutory retention obligations require (in particular under commercial and tax law, up to ten years).
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may withdraw your consent at any time (Art. 7(3)). An informal message to the contact details above is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
